There will indeed be a Frenchman in the final of the  FIP Silver Palermo Opposed in the semi-finals,  Dylan Guichard  et  Clement Geens  have finally gained the upper hand  Nathan Courrin  et  Thomas Seux  at the end of a hard-fought battle:  4/6 6/4 6/4 .

 Courrin and Seux were not far from pulling off a major coup 

For Nathan Courrin and Thomas Seux, the Sicilian adventure ends at the gates of the final, but the two Frenchmen can leave Palermo with many reasons for satisfaction.

Having already played a tremendous match in the first round against the 7th seed,  Alejandro Merino Nieto / Guillermo Fernández Sánchez They then confirmed their form perfectly to reach the semi-finals, a first at this level of competition for both players.

Against Guichard and Geens, they once again displayed their full range of skills. Highly aggressive in the first set, they managed to take the lead and clinch the opening set 6-4. For a long time, a major upset seemed possible.

But the experience of the Franco-Belgian pair ultimately made the difference. Stronger in the crucial moments, Guichard and Geens gradually regained control of the match to win the next two sets by the same score of 6-4.

Despite the defeat, Courrin and Seux simply achieved the best result of their careers on a  FIP Silver  and confirm their progress on the international circuit.

Fourth seeded in the tournament, Dylan Guichard and Clément Geens continue to justify their status.

After a quarter-final that was already very hard-fought against  Luis Oliver Artigas / Juan Zamora Perez The French number 1 and the Belgian number 1 still had to work hard to secure their place in the final.

A victory that allows them to reach another final together on the FIP circuit and to continue their great week in Italy.

 A big challenge for the title 

To lift the trophy, Guichard and Geens will now have to pull off a major upset.

They will face the number 1 seeds, the Spanish team, in the final.  Antonio Fernández  et  Adrián Marqués Berdonce , two players installed in the  world top 90 .
