What a week for  Dylan Guichard  et  Clement Geens The Franco-Belgian pair concluded their superb run at  FIP Silver Palermo  in the most spectacular way by winning the title against the tournament's number 1 seed,  Antonio Fernández  et  Adrián Marqués Berdonce , on the score of  6 / 3 7 / 6 .

A very high-level performance against two leading figures on the international circuit, respectively  63e  et  95th in the world .

 A landmark victory against two top 100 players 

In the final, Guichard and Geens delivered a particularly solid match.

Facing the tournament favorites, they perfectly controlled the first set, winning 6-3, before withstanding a comeback attempt from the Spaniards in a much closer second set. More solid in the crucial moments, the French and Belgian number ones were able to make the difference in the tiebreak to close out the match in two sets.

This victory confirms once again the level Dylan Guichard has displayed for several months. The Frenchman is stringing together benchmark performances against players in the world's top 100 and fully confirms his status as a...  French number 1 .

 A perfectly negotiated tournament 

Admittedly, the withdrawal of the second seed before the start of the tournament opened up part of the draw. But it was still necessary to seize the opportunity.

Guichard and Geens did it perfectly.

In the quarter-finals, they had already secured a fine victory against the Spanish.  Luis Oliver Artigas  et  Juan Zamora Perez Then in the semi-final, they had to dig deep to turn things around.  Nathan Courrin  et  Thomas Seux , who also had an excellent tournament, after losing the first set.

In the final, they confirmed their rise to prominence with a very accomplished performance against the tournament favorites.

 A second title together in 2026 

This success allows Dylan Guichard and Clément Geens to secure their  second title together this season  after their victory at  FIP Bronze Wood  in March.

For Dylan Guichard, this is above all a first title in  FIP Silver  this year. The Frenchman already knew the recipe at this level since he had won the  FIP Silver Hong Kong  last season alongside the Portuguese  Antonio Luque .

Thanks to this victory, he leaves Sicily with the  80 FIP points  awarded to the winners, a valuable asset that should allow him to continue his progress in the world rankings.

An almost perfect week for the Frenchman, who confirms more than ever his place among the most successful French players of the moment.
