The semi-finals of  FIP Bronze Rijswijk  in the Netherlands and the  FIP Bronze Pembroke  In Malta, the verdict was delivered this Sunday. While several French players were still in contention, only  Dylan Guichard  will compete in a final.

Sireix and De Vocht stopped by the tournament's surprise

In the women's competition in Rijswijk,  Camille Sireix  and the Belgian  Tess De Vocht  had a great opportunity to reach the final.

The match had started perfectly for the Franco-Belgian pair, who won a first set that was hard-fought in a tie-break.

But behind them, the Belgians  Justine Pyson  et  Helene Boeykens , who had already knocked out the 1st seed Léa Godallier / Ariadna Cañellas Rodero in the quarter-finals, confirmed their excellent week.

They completely turned the game around to win.  6/7 6/2 6/2  and continue their incredible journey all the way to the final.

A frustrating defeat for Camille Sireix and Tess De Vocht who had a real chance in this part of the draw.

 Guichard dominates the French duel

And in the end, it was the French number 1 who had the last word.

After winning the first set  6/4 Seurin and Luque even took the break in the deciding set.

But the Spanish reacted at the best moment to get back into the game and then win.  4/6 6/2 7/6 .

A frustrating defeat, especially as the final seemed so close for the Franco-Portuguese pair.

The final will therefore oppose  Dylan Guichard / Marco Cassetta  à  José Rico / Juan Cruz Belluati Forastiero A match is scheduled.  not before 17:30 p.m. on center court .

Hugounenq falls to the favorites in Malta

The side of  FIP Bronze Pembroke Unfortunately, there will be no French final.

Associated with Spanish  Joseph Manuel Ortiz ,  Arthur Hugounenq  put up a good fight against the number 1 seed  José Solano  et  Ramiro Pereyra .

After a hard-fought first set lost in a tiebreak, the Franco-Spanish pair continued to battle but ultimately succumbed in two sets.  7 / 6 6 / 3 .

Despite this elimination, the overall result remains positive for Hugounenq and Ortiz, who had a very good tournament marked in particular by their victory in the quarter-final against the 5th seed.

An encouraging semi-final that confirms the Frenchman's good momentum on the FIP Tour.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
