Marina Guinart and Veronica Virseda  end their adventure in the best possible way. Three weeks after their victory at  FIP Platinum of Tirana The two Spanish women did it again at  Paredes' FIP Platinum , in Portugal.

In the final, they overcame  Carolina Orsi and Patty Llaguno  after a big fight:  6/3 6/7 6/4 A victory achieved through sheer willpower after letting the second set slip away in a tie-break, when they had the opportunity to close it out in two sets.

"It was a very difficult match. We also had the opportunity to win in the second set, but Marina and I have the same goal: to win," Virseda said after the match.

The same sentiment was echoed by Guinart, exhausted but happy: "I am very tired but very happy. We supported each other and continued to fight on every point."

This new title brings them  300 additional FIP points  and confirms the very positive momentum of the Spanish pair, who have now secured a second  FIP Platinum immediately  after Tirana.

A success that also has a special flavor. Because despite this winning streak,  Guinart and Virseda will play their last tournaments together The two players have indeed decided to part ways after the  Bordeaux P2 where Marina Guinart will form a new pair with  Alejandra Alonso while Veronica Virseda will team up with  Jimena velasco .

Before going their separate ways, the two Spanish women shared one last great moment together and arrived at  Valladolid P2  with maximum confidence… and a second consecutive Platinum trophy in their luggage.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
