The first laps of the  FIP Silver Höganäs  have delivered their initial lessons with several French pairs involved. If  Johan Bergeron / Timéo Fonteny  started their tournament perfectly,  Max Joris / Jeremy Robert  They delivered one of the day's standout performances by eliminating the No. 6 seed. Meanwhile,  Manu Vives / Olivier Guy de Chamisso  had to fight to avoid a trap of an opening, while Arthaud Dumoulin / Kilian Jordan  are already leaving the competition.

In the upper part of the table,  Manu Vives / Olivier Guy de Chamisso  came very close to an unpleasant surprise against a Swedish pair who were brought in as lucky losers.

After a dominant first set (6-1), the French saw their opponents come back into the match before regaining control in the decisive set to win.  6/1 4/6 6/3 .

The challenge looks much more complicated in the next round as the French will face the No. 7 seed, the Swedes.  Simon Vasquez / Daniel Windahl , in front of their audience.

For their entry into the tournament,  Johan Bergeron / Timéo Fonteny (ts5)  left their opponents no chance.

The French dispatched their first match with a resounding victory.  6 / 0 6 / 1 confirming their status among the tournament favorites.

In the second round, they will face  Guillaume Duprat / Bilal Duprat , two players well known on the French circuit and regularly present on the  P1000 On paper, however, Bergeron and Fonteny have all the assets to continue their journey calmly towards the quarter-finals.

However, the adventure ended in the round of 32 for the Franco-Swiss pair.  Arthaud Dumoulin / Kilian Jordan .

Trailing after losing the first set against  Ignacio Archieri / Jaume Romera (ts6) The French turned the situation around with character to ultimately prevail.  3/6 6/3 6/3 .

Thanks to this victory, they have significantly opened up their draw and can nurture real ambitions in this lower section.

Their next match will pit them against  Douglas Rutgersson / Diogo Jesus .

Biron and Basso face an immense challenge

Finally  Julien Biron / Thomas Basso  They too secured their place in the round of 32 after a particularly close match.

Their reward, however, will be a very high-level confrontation against the tournament's number 2 seed.  Francisco Gil / Manuel Castaño .
