For anyone with a project to create a club of padel, one of the recurring questions is: “how many lands are needed to get started? ”

We will not discuss the financial aspect but thesporty aspect in these few lines where we will try to give you information.

A single track of padel not enough

With un only ground, you will be able to accommodate approximately 32 players per day with 8 sessions of 1h30 or even 40 players if you make reservations for an hour ... But with only one field, you end up very very quickly blocked. People are not going to be happy with playing only once a week, or even an hour.

This is what happens in most tennis clubs, which only wish to build one court, to “try out” and which aim to keep their “tennis members” and not to really develop the game. padel. They are very quickly confronted with a saturation and their players find themselves forced to go and play elsewhere to satisfy their desires padel.

Indeed, the padel is a booming sport everywhere, the interest it arouses is growing day by day, once you have tasted it all you want is one thing, and that is to get back on the court. Two courts are already much more interesting than one, but in our opinion to be able to create a real dynamic padel in a club, the ideal is to have 4 tracks !

padel tournament business

Why 4 fields?

Four tracks is obviously a budget for a club, and we understand that some may have some reluctance to the idea of launching a project of this magnitude. And yet, there is so much to be gained!

Firstly it allows you toaccommodate a good number of players, and ensure that they can come and play several times a week, without having reservation problems (128 players per day with sessions of 1h30!).

Second, you can  offer training to adults both collectively and individually. You will also have the possibility of create a school for young people, who are the next generation and who will allow your club to sustain.

Third, the sports events. By offering fun events such as tournaments ascents / descents to friendly tournaments and discoveries, you promote exchanges between members. You will also have the possibility to organize approved competitions, which allows your players to challenge those of other clubs, who will at the same time discover your facilities. It might make them want to come back during the year to play a few games!
