[box type = ”shadow”] Olivier Malaval has been a certified Somatic Experience practitioner since 2009 and specializes in sport. He is an assistant / trainer with Pr Michel Schittecatte where they train doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, osteopaths and psychotherapists on a process which initially is used to treat trauma (falls, surgical operations, accidents of cars, assaults, abuse, natural disasters, mourning, etc.) [/ box]

Olivier Malaval is one of the great specialists in the somatic (or somatic) experience. It is a technique for treating trauma. A technique that could help players of padel to play better.

"We all had traumatic episodes"

Olivier Malaval explains to us that the player of padel like the athlete more generally “has very probably already experienced more or less traumatic episodes. It's part of life".

So how can this technique help the athlete?

Players, players and coaches are always on the lookout for confidence.

One of the problems for the players is that sometimes their brains navigate between the past, the present and the future when they make a match while the principle of concentration is to be able to focus on the moment Present, which is not thing easy for some.

The Somatic Experience acts on 2 things, the cognitive part of the brain but especially the physiological part which is the most important for the players.

Psychological problems are physiological

All psychological problems being physiological, that's why it allows effective and very fast results.

Modify the physiology of a player and you will improve the way he plays and thinks.

What was discovered in neuroscience, “is that changing physiology changes the way of thinking"Explains Olivier Malaval.

Olivier Malaval tells you ...

"Coach tennis for over 20 years, I have always researched the performance of players and players.

After doing various training in psychology and training in NLP, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Sophrology, I discovered the method of Somatic Experience in 2006.

I am part of the 1ere promotion in France where we were 35 students with doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists ...

This method was discovered by an American who studied animal behavior and how they deal with their trauma. With this process, He also prepared NASA astronauts for the space shuttle.

Following my training that lasted 4 years, I began to help amateur and professional athletes.

The benefits of the somatic experience on Tsonga and Pierce ...

In May 2007, I also stopped the repeated injuries that Jo Wilfried Tsonga had and he brought me to the Wimbledon tournament before his round of 8 against Richard Gasquet.

Mary Pierce had a session following her knee problem and wrote me an article in the newspaper L'Equipe on April 10, 2010.

In 2016, I took care of Thomas Chesnault goalkeeper of the U19 France team and hope of PSG who had various injuries.

Amazing results

The 1st action of this process acts on both pain and healing with sometimes very rapid results. It allows muscle relaxation which makes the muscles gain speed, to recover in a spectacular way from aches and hits received.

We can act on the lumbago, contractures, tendinitis, sprains, tears, stress of the sportsman, insomnia, migraines, injuries with repetitions.

An interesting option for future champions

The 2th interesting action is that the player gets to feel more easily in the present, which makes him more instinctive. This is what the Champions look for and characterize.

One of the objectives is to intervene at the same time on the cognitive and especially on the physiology through the autonomic nervous system.

To schematize this process, if we compare the body to a car, you self-regulate the entire nervous system which has the effect of returning current and water to the right amperage and to the right flow throughout the body.

This is what gives this immediate impression to fluidity players in the body and that everything becomes easier.

Rayane Roumane, the winner of the Petits As

In 2012, I trained and coached Rayane Roumane for 2 years to prepare him for the Petits As tournament in Tarbes, which is the 14-year-old world championship.

We won the Petits As tournament in 2014 in singles and doubles by preparing it with this method which allowed him to respond PRESENT to all his matches.

I also coach Nadia and Lyudmylia Kichenok (Ukrainian) in January 2015 and won the tournament in Shenzen ($ 500)

From beginner to high level

There is no age to use it. It works for both beginners and top athletes.

I am currently preparing at the Pyramides club in Port Marly 78, a young 12 year old player Marie Knispel who was 15/5 in June 2016 and after 8 months of training based on this process, she has already beaten 3 players at 15/1 , two 15 and one 5/6.

I specialize in training young players whose parents have a sports project. The speed of training is the main advantage of this method.

I offer trainings for coaches interested in the method and train players with a sports project.
