One of the most difficult things to control in a game of padel is the concentration. It is normal for distractions to occur during play, such as changes in pace, pauses, duration, fatigue or stress. We must therefore attach great importance to mental training, because it is an essential part of a positive result of a match.

Time and time again we have heard teammates, opponents say things like, "I'm out of the game", "I lost my focus at the worst time". In order for this not to happen, you need to know how to control distractions, and how to maintain a good level of focus on the pitch at all times.

Concentration has been defined as a psychic process of voluntarily focusing all the mind's attention on a goal, an object or an activity in progress or about to be, leaving aside the series of events. or other objects that may be able to interfere with their achievement.

As with other psychological factors influencing our performance in padel, such as visualization or stress control, concentration can also be captured on and off the pitch. While everyone is different and, like everywhere, there are some people who are more easily distracted than others, there are attention-focusing exercises that can be performed in our workouts.
