We only deal here with the part concerning installation of the field, we therefore consider that a slab has been made, to accommodate the structure.

The installation of a padel includes 4 key steps which are: unloading of materials, setting up and mounting of the structure, setting up of windows, installation of lawn and net.

1 / Unloading of materials

For this step, specialized machines must be used, such as a crane of at least 4 kg, forklifts, etc.

You must try to distribute the equipment inside the court or as close as possible to its installation.

 

2 / The establishment and assembly of the structure

The installation of the track padel begins with the plot of the land, namely a rectangle of 20m x 10m inside, being careful to have exactly 90 ° in the angles.

Always by marking 20,05m and 10,05m so that the corners are correctly fixed, 2,05 centimeters will be cut to anchor the first module, always raising the part of 10m then the two parts of 20m by placing the trims on the meshes and ending with 10 m.

 

Once the structure is lifted, we will start leveling it. Once it is leveled and anchored, we will place the neoprene and anchor the window anchors.

 

3 / The installation of windows

In this phase, it is necessary to pay particular attention since the smallest impact, even minimal during the handling of the panes, in particular in the corners, is likely to cause a rupture.

Placing wooden wedges on the surface will serve as a rule, as well as protection to prevent the glass from touching the ground.

Material required for this phase:

4 tires to protect the windows during their installation
2 suction cups to handle them

Installation of windows:

It is best to put the glass on the tires, so that you can work more comfortably. To start, put the glass between the modules for later lifting. Then, the goal is to rest the panes on the wooden wedges previously placed. You have to lift the windows and approach them with suction cups, until they correspond to the structure, being careful to always place the glass in the middle first.

Subsequently, it is necessary to place the screws with their protector, as well as the neoprene pad provided by TECHNOPADEL, to adjust later with the washer and nut. Once all the screws have been inserted, we will adjust and tighten.

4 / Installation of the lawn and the net

First clean the installation area with a brush, to remove objects, stones etc. which could damage the carpet.

Then we start by unrolling the carpet rolls, adjusting them to one side. It is necessary to do the same with the other two rollers, until covering the whole surface, cutting the inside perimeter of the track.
Once extended and cut, weights them to avoid movement, we mark the lawn to make the lines of play. Once marked, we cut a strip 5cm wide to insert the line.

Once all the lines have been cut, we will proceed to gluing, for this, the junctions are raised, leaving a space of 35cm. The adhesive tape will be placed on the floor and the adhesive adhesive will be applied.
It will be extended with a serrated trowel to distribute it evenly.

Once the line has been extended, the carpet is returned to its position and the line is placed. By adjusting all the joints, we ballast them with sand, to avoid possible air pockets. At the joints between the carpet strips, the process is the same, without inserting the lines.

Comes after the moment to distribute the sand over the entire court.

Finally, we will place the net, keeping it in the fixed part and giving it the necessary tension to bring its center to a height of 89,5 cm. This way we will be able to play padel optimally.
