After the stages contested in the East, in Strasbourg then in Mulhouse,  the 9th stage of the Betclic Remontada Padel  settled in  Orleans  du  Wednesday 26 to Saturday 29 March A meeting that once again lived up to all its promises, between sporting performances, twists and turns, and always friendly entertainment.

A Cruel Remontada

As is often the case in this competition with its unusual format, some courses leave a bitter taste.  yet undefeated pair  throughout the stage, from Betclic field 1 to the final, ended up losing in the last match. A setback that  deprives them of the play-offs …That’s the cruelty – and the magic – of the format.  Comeback .

One player particularly stood out by achieving  three comebacks including  two victorious , on this stage.

In the category  Old School , the winning pair posted an impressive total of  92 years combined  !

A winner on all counts

The winner of the tables  Old School  et  Mixed  not only shone on the field: he also won the  Bombazo Challenge , With a  smash measured at 14 meters . An impressive performance, although still below the record of  15,2 established in Bordeaux .

A distinguished guest and a pétanque game that’s always at its best

The Orléans stage was also marked by the  presence of Elena Levanez , to the great delight of players. As for the now essential  “giga pétanque by Babolat" , she once again met  A great success , confirming its status as the circuit's flagship event.

La  next step  of the Betclic Remontada Padel will take place in the  brand new center of Vaires-sur-Marne ,  Monday 7 to Thursday 10 April . There is only left  three steps  to try to  secure a place in the play-offs , or even a qualification for the  finals at the foot of the Eiffel Tower .
