Le France's first solar padel center has just emerged from the ground in the Puy de Dome. In this commune of Saint-Remy-sur-Durolle, three indoor padel courts were installed, accompanied by solar panels.

A first in France in the field of padel. According to the local newspaper The MountainNear Thiers, in the municipality of Saint-Remy-sur-Durolle, made of 1 inhabitants, solar sports center dedicated to padel was inaugurated within the Saint-Rémois Tennis Club.

With this project, the municipality of Saint-Remy-sur-Durolle continues to develop its offer ofsports equipments accompanied bysolar energy.

Three indoor courts are accessible every day from 9h to 22h the photovoltaic solar panels installed on the roof will allow to produce 410 MWh per year. The building will be autonomous in electricity and will provide other sports facilities.
