Interview that could make a lot of noise on the FIP side and First padel by Juan Cruz Belluati and Ramiro Moyano after their victory at the P1 in Dubai against Cardona / Navarro in three sets in complicated conditions. Belluati and Moyano returned to the “inhuman” conditions:

Juan Cruz Belluati : First of all, I am quite angry, but I will answer about the match. Regarding the encounter, I think it was a match played in inhuman conditions. We won, but we could just as easily have lost in two sets.

As a pair, we are happy, of course. Winning matches in such conditions is a real plus for any team. The real “gain” of this match is that, fortunately, none of the four players were injured. The organization of the tournament deserves a 10/10; what they are doing is admirable, because there are a lot of people here, just like us.

But I would like to address the leaders of the FIP and Premier Padel, hoping that they will be ashamed when they see the state in which the players enter and leave the rest rooms.

Ramiro Moyano : As Juan said, I am happy with this victory, but especially because none of the four players suffered any physical problems. Everything is good with the organization, everything is beautiful, but it is shameful, really shameful, that we are made to play in such temperatures.

They try to compare themselves to tennis and do everything like tennis, but they have to understand that the paddle is another sport, with windows, rising temperatures, it's different, and it impacts us enormously. outdoor padel cannot be played.

You can play outdoors in some places, but at these temperatures it is impossible. And until something serious happens, they will not become aware of the situation. As Juan said, I hope they do something, because it is unhealthy for everyone: for the seated referee, for the coaches, and even more so for the players.
