From Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 October 2024, the sunny city of Malaga, more precisely in Alhaurín de la Torre, will host the International Club Cup of Padel (CICP) 2024. This event promises to be a celebration of padel, bringing together 24 teams from 10 countries spread across 3 continents. More than 150 players, accompanied by their coaches, managers, and supporters, will participate in this tournament of international scope.
Thursday October 3: welcome to Malaga
Thursday will mark the arrival of the participants. The delegations will begin to assemble from midday at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Malaga, while the Tahitian delegation, which arrived earlier, will stay at the Cortijo Chico Hotel. Club Manantiales, in Alhaurín de la Torre, will be the nerve center of the event, with training on 10 tracks and a captains' meeting at 19 p.m. The evening will end with a friendly cocktail where welcome packs will be handed out and the teams will be presented.
Friday October 4: time for play
On Friday, the serious things begin at 8:30 a.m. with registrations and official photos taken. At 9 a.m., the first group meetings will begin on the club's 10 slopes. Players will be able to quench their thirst at the bar, and a space dedicated to osteopaths and physiotherapists will be open from 10 a.m. to ensure their well-being. Lunch will be taken in nearby restaurants, and the day will end with two team matches before an official dinner at the La Pergola restaurant. An evening marked by elegance, where the president will present diplomas and gifts to the participants.

Saturday October 5: competition and culture
On Saturday, the matches will continue from 9 a.m. with the Gold, Silver and Bronze tables on 12 tracks. Once again, players will be supported by health professionals on site. After an intense day of competition, a show of Andalusian dance and music awaits participants at 19 p.m., followed by an official reception in the gardens of the Alhaurín de la Torre town hall. The mayor, Joaquín Villanova Rueda, will welcome the delegations with a parade of clubs under the flags of each country, before handing out welcome packs and souvenir trophies.
Sunday October 6: the grand finals
Sunday will be the highlight of the CICP 2024. From 9:30 am, the finals and classification matches will take place, offering a thrilling spectacle to the spectators. The winners will be crowned at 13:30 pm, with the presentation of the prestigious Manel Vidal Trophy to the most assiduous club since 2017. To close this sporting weekend, a giant paella will be shared by all, accompanied by an exhibition by the Upadel selection. At 17 pm, it will be time to say goodbye, with already in mind the appointment for the CICP 2025 in Senegal, at the Club La Palmerai.
