At the Pommeraie, start of the holidays rhymes with beginning of the courses. And this year, it is no longer tennis courses that are offered, but multi-racquet courses.

The first is over this Friday July 6. And yes, the middle and high school students were already on vacation. Five trainees opted to start the holidays in a sporty way. Some for the morning or the afternoon, others for both! And if at the beginning the course was supposed to be multi racket, it quickly turned into a course padel, at their request we reassure you.

All from tennis, they put this week to work to take the benchmarks of padel to the detriment of those of tennis. And yes, letting the ball pass is not natural for a tennis player!

Several exercises were offered to them, stolen, smash, back glass, double glass and we can say that they learned quickly!

The internship was supervised by Gaspard, recent winner of the second P100 of La Pommeraie, where he was associated with Olivier, the other monitor of the club. They beat in the final Damien and Simon at the super tie-break. The final was followed by a score of people, who then attended the annual end-of-season barbecue. To note during this tournament, the first two points with exit by the doors and gain of the point behind, sign that the level of play is progressing with the Pommeraie. Twelve pairs took part in the tournament.

If all goes well, this was our last P100, the arrival of two other fields in the fall will allow to organize larger tournaments and with more teams.

All summer, the club remains open and the courses continue for young people but also for adults (information on http://www.tcpommeraie.fr)
