This is exceptional for our tricolors! There will be a 100% French pair in the main draw of the first FIP QSI TOUR – Premier Padel, which will take place in Doha in a few days. As in tennis, organizers can provide Wild-Cards and we are obviously delighted that Inzerillo and Maigret are among the lucky ones.

By the very admission of Jérome Inzerillo, the current French No. 12: “It's unexpected but we are obviously very happy to obtain this Wild-Card for the main draw, because we were not guaranteed to be able to enter this first tournament of the FIP / QSI.”

And for good reason: to qualify, you had to have at least 60 points, when the French pair only have 16… With this total, they weren't even in pole position on the waiting list. It is therefore a huge chance that is offered to Jérome and Adrien who would certainly have remained on the floor without this Wild-Card ! Moreover, it is an opportunity to secure points which will be very important for the next tournaments of Premier Padel.

In total, the organizations distribute six Wild-Cards:

  • Four in the main draw
  • Two in qualifying phase

In the main draw, alongside Maigret/Inzerillo, three local pairs were chosen:

  • Mohammad Saadon / Abdulaziz Saadon
  • Abdulla Alhiji / Mohammed Abdulla
  • Jabor Al-Mutawa / Mohammad Al-Khanji

It should be noted that the Saadon brothers are well known to the French public for having participated in the FIP RISE Canet-en-Roussillon.

In the qualifications, an Egyptian pair (Seif Abou Senna / Khaled Nagy) and an English pair (Samuel Jones / Christian Medina Murphy) are the lucky ones.
