After their big match in the semi-final against the big favorites  Barla / Lambert Agosti , the pair  Victoria Isaac (114th)  et  Lison Chrétien Meal (87th)  will play this Sunday the  final of the French U18 Championships And the least we can say is that they will approach this meeting with a spirit of revenge.

A semi-final controlled under pressure

In a tense match, the two young French players showed character. Quickly dominated in intensity at the start of the second set, they were able to return to their game plan: slow down the pace, rely on their physical intensity and exploit the playing conditions. This discipline finally paid off in the third set, concluded 7/5 after a decisive game marked by a  Victoria Isaac's first successful field trip , acclaimed by the public.

Their coach  Greg Jacob  praised the tactical discipline of his players:

"They were able to stick to their game plan despite the tension. Their discipline made the difference in a very tense end to the match."

A final with a taste of revenge

In the final, Isaac and Chrétien Meal will meet again  Talano / Jovasevic , their defeaters in the group stage (6/3 6/4). This time, the two players want to show a completely different side.

"We're a bit of a revengeful spirit compared to the group match. We're going to focus on physical intensity from the start to free up our arms and avoid tension. If the girls stick to their game plan and limit their mistakes, they can go for this victory," assures their coach.

An assumed status of outsider

Facing a pair that had dominated them a few days ago, Isaac and Chrétien Meal advance without pressure, but with reinforced determination.

"This outsider status suits us well. It takes away stress and allows the girls to focus on their strengths."
