We already knew thatin Italy on padel is experiencing a meteoric expansion, but this is still unheard of.

Some are willing to do anything to win their piece of the pie.

According to our Italian colleagues from Youtg, Sardinian newspaper on the Internet, a local entrepreneur was building padel in a private area within the Sant'Elia sports complex in Cagliari, in the north of Sardinia.

Aware of this illegal establishment following an information, the municipal police intervened this Tuesday morning on the spot to stop the site which was taking place on the private domain of the municipality.

The workers had just poured the cement to begin the construction of a site.

These tracks were to respond to the fervor that the city knows for the sport, but in the end the authorities stopped everything, leaving the entrepreneur no choice but to review his plans.

This time it's very close to home, but remember a few months ago, on the other side of the Atlantic, 33 people were arrested in Chile for organizing and participating in a padel illegal.
