The tricolor duo Johan Bergeron / Bastien Blanqué confirms its excellent form in Rome. Already victorious in two sets in their first two qualifying matches, the “BB” overcame the final obstacle this Monday by dominating the top seed in the qualifiers, Simon Vasquez (world no. 82) / Clément Geens (world no. 83).
In a generally balanced match, the French were able to make the difference in the important moments. 40% of break points converted against 0% for their opponents, Blanqué and Bergeron were able to break away in each round, to finally win 6 / 3 6 / 4.

This is a great performance against a pair well established in the world top 100, and a logical qualification for the 32nd finals of the Italy Major Premier PadelThe two Frenchmen thus find themselves in a main draw in a tournament Premier Padel, more than six months after their last appearance at the Mexico Major last November.
They are already leaving with 50 FIP points and are now waiting to know their next opponents to continue their wonderful Roman adventure.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
