The course of Raúl Marcos et Gonzalo Alfonso, number 1 of the A1 Padel, has just concluded in Rome. The pair lost after a spectacular game against Lucas Bergamini et Victor Ruiz (6/4, 6/7, 6/3).

A few hours after picking up his first success on the Premier Padel, the Argentinian, accompanied by his Spanish partner, did it again against the 10th seed. A poster which resulted in a superb battle lasting 2 hours 28 minutes.

The match started very strongly, with an open start which turned in favor of the Spanish-Brazilian duo. More impactful on their serves (despite a double fault), the favorites logically ended up taking the lead. But Marcos/Alfonso responded by winning an interminable second set, which ended with a score of… 11-9 in the tie-break! An unprecedented situation which cost them a lot of energy. In the third round, the two men broke down physically and lost consistency, unlike their opponents. Victory therefore goes to Bergamini / Ruiz, who will challenge Lebron et Paquito in the next round.

The other star of the A1 Padel, Tolito Aguirre, is still in the race with Gonzalo Rubio. They are playing a prestigious match this evening against Maximilian Sanchez et sanyo gutierrez (TS8), which will be broadcast on the Youtube channel de Premier Padel.
