After Thomas Leygue's elimination during qualifying, three French players will take to the court this Tuesday in the main draw of the  Italy Major , the second Major of the season on the circuit Premier PadelBetween opportunities to seize and major challenges to overcome,  Léa Godallier, Carla Touly and Dylan Guichard  will all have a great opportunity to shine in the Italian capital.

 Léa Godallier reunites with Ariadna Cañellas Rodero 

The first Frenchwoman to enter the competition,  Léa Godallier  will be associated with the Spanish  Ariadna Canellas Rodero with whom she had already shared the stage a few years ago.

The Franco-Spanish pair will face  Claudia Escacena Montero  et  Patricia martinez fortun  in a match that promises to be evenly matched, but where Godallier and Cañellas will start with a slight advantage on paper. The match is scheduled as the opening game of the  Court 6 starting at 10am .

If they win, they will face each other in the second round.  Lorena Rufo  et  Jessica castelló , top seeds of the tournament.

 A great opportunity for Carla Touly 

For its part,  Carla Toully  will also play her first round alongside the Spaniard  Amanda Lopez Morale .

The draw seems rather favorable, as both players will face a team from the qualifiers, composed of  Carmen Castillón Gamez  et  Maria Portillo Perez A match where the Frenchwoman and her partner will be the favorites. The match is scheduled for the fifth 10am slot on the  short 8 .

The stakes are high because a victory could open the door to a round of 32 match against  Lucia Sainz  et  Jana Montes , a pair that Touly and Lopez Moral know well. The two players had notably dominated them during the  FIP Silver London  a few weeks ago.

The opportunity to reach the round of 16 in a Major is very real.

 Guichard and Cassetta face a tough first test 

At men's,  Dylan Guichard  will make his entry into the tournament with the Italian  Frame Cassetta , beneficiaries of a  wild card  granted by the organization.

For their first round, they will face  Ignacio Vilariño  et  Mario Del Castillo , a pair accustomed to the major events on the circuit. The match is scheduled as the third match on the  Pietrangeli central court .

A significant challenge for the Franco-Italian pair, but also a great opportunity to pull off an upset. A victory would see Guichard and Cassetta face a prestigious opponent in the second round.  Tolito Aguirre  et  Alex Arroyo .

In front of his home crowd, Marco Cassetta will undoubtedly be keen to shine, while Dylan Guichard will try to extend his very good momentum after his recent final at the FIP Bronze Rijswijk.
