New association on the women's circuit: Jana Montes will now be working alongside Lucia Sainz for the rest of the season.
The Spaniard of 2008, considered one of the great hopes of Spanish padel, is therefore turning a new page after her time with the French number 1 Alix Collombon .
A duo combining experience and youth
This new pair combines two completely different but very complementary profiles.
On the one hand, Lucia Sainz , former world number 1 and a major figure in the women's circuit. On the other hand, Jana Montes , a young player from the Next Gen generation, already very popular despite her very young age.
Lucía Sainz to support Jana Montes' progress
After her association with Alix Collombon, Jana Montes will now benefit from the experience of a player who knows the very big occasions perfectly.
The objective seems clear: to allow the young Spaniard to continue her progress at the highest level while gaining stability and confidence in big matches.
A young player who is already very promising
Despite being only 17 years old, Jana Montes already has a very impressive track record in youth competitions.
A world champion with Spain in the youth categories, she also distinguished herself on the CUPRA FIP Tour with several titles won, notably at Caen et Bari .
Her potential makes her one of the most promising players of her generation.
A pair to watch in the coming weeks
This partnership between Lucía Sainz and Jana Montes will inevitably be closely watched in the upcoming tournaments.
Between Sainz's immense experience and Montes' potential, this new duo could quickly become a very interesting pair on the women's circuit.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
