This is a huge achievement for French padel. Jeremy Robert et Olivier Guy de Chamisso only U18 teams have won the FIP Bronze Marnes at home by dominating the 3rd seed Samuel Rivas Garcia / Nicolas Zurita at the end of a completely controlled final: 6 / 3 6 / 4 .
A huge achievement for the two young Frenchmen who thus win their very first international title… at home, in France, in front of their family and their public.
A perfectly controlled finale
In this final, the two Frenchmen delivered a masterclass during class .
We were treated to a very large Jeremy Robert Impressive in attacking phases. The young Frenchman steadily grew in strength throughout the match, causing a lot of damage in attack.
By his side, Olivier Guy de Chamisso He also delivered a tremendous performance. Very consistent from start to finish, he perfectly supported his partner and raised his level in the important moments, particularly in the second set.
The two French players knew how to make the difference at the best moment in each set. In the second set, they broke at 5 - 4 to go for the title with great skill.
Opposite, Zurita and Rivas They sometimes rushed things, especially in smashes, particularly at the end of the match, which allowed the French to counter them perfectly.

An exceptional journey
This title concludes an incredible week for Robert and Guy de Chamisso.
And yet, their tournament had almost ended in the first round against Nathan Courrin / Thomas Seux where they had to save match points.
Then, the two U18s completely changed their level:
- victory against the 8th seed in the round of 16,
- victory against the 11th seed in the quarter-finals,
- Huge comeback in the semi-final against the 4th seed Juan Zamora Perez / Alejandro Garcia Calahorro : 2/6 7/6 6/1 ,
- before cruising to victory in the final against the 3rd seed.
They also benefited from the withdrawal of the number 1 seed before the tournament to see the draw open up, but this does not take anything away from the immense performance achieved throughout the week.
The future of French padel
Before this tournament, the two young Frenchmen had never even reached a semi-final in a FIP Bronze .
This time, they leave with the trophy and above all 40 FIP points which will allow them to make a very big leap in the world rankings.
Their level of play, their maturity and their ability to perform under pressure impressed everyone this week.
Clearly, Robert and Guy de Chamisso represent the future of French padel And this victory could well be the beginning of something very big.
Already expected at FIP Silver Bandol
The two young Frenchmen will, in fact, be back on the French slopes very soon, starting from the FIP Silver Bandol .
On this occasion:
- Olivier Guy de Chamisso will evolve with Manuel Vives
- while Jeremy Robert will share the track with Maxime Joris .
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
