Last weekend, in Fuengirola, the first APT tournament took place Padel Tour in Spain. This Future 500 tournament saw for the first time in history a French APT champion.

First French to have been part of the Top 100 of World Padel Tour, Jérémy Scatena is now included in the history books of the APT Padel Tower ! Adrien Maigret and Benjamin Tison had managed to go to the final in Belgium, their compatriot therefore did better, with this first trophy for a French player!

Scatena-Dominguez APT CHAMPIONSOn Sunday August 22, Scatena became the first Frenchman to win an APT tournament Padel Tour.

During his participation in the Future 500 Fuengirola, Jérémy teamed up with the Argentinian Facundo Dominguez. During the competition, they displayed a very high level of play, losing only one set in the four matches they played. In the final, they created a surprise against the Argentines Santiago rolla et Luciano Puppo, seeded number 1 in the tournament, beating them in two sets: 6/4 and 7/6.

Since joining the APT, Jérémy has played nine competitions, the quarter-finals being his best performance so far. It was therefore during his tenth tournament, in Spanish territory and near his home, that he was proclaimed champion for the first time, and probably not the last!

We will see Jérémy on the slopes very soon since it is a busy month of September that promises to be on the APT, with a Future 1000, two Opens and a Master from the APT Padel Tour ! The good news is that he is already possible to register !
