Jérémy Scatena : " Yes ! Especially since I took full advantage of the board, thoroughly, thoroughly... I don't even know who I'm playing tomorrow (Editor's note: Chingotto / Tello, seeded 4 in the tournament). I made my tournament, I know that mentally I will be insulted by saying that, but it was my objective. I had this crazy painting. Before playing Gaspar/Rocafort, I didn't look at who I was playing. I wanted to focus on the objective which was to get into the picture. When I found out who I was up against, I admit that I didn't sleep very well, I was under pressure... I think I was really not good today, like yesterday for that matter. On the other hand, I was brave and I really didn't give up. My partner he just lets go (laughs), he just says to me “But put a ball in the court, I beg you”. And I tell myself, I'm going to continue and if we don't have to take a break and win 7-6 in the last set, well we will. And then there is this little break in the 3rd which changes the game.

Objectively it changes my season this year, my next season and my season of 2024. When you take 40 pts on average, and I take 120 in a tournament and there are 4 tournaments in the year… that changes my life. "

" You have to take advantage of it, you never know, an injury could happen. So you have to play your shot thoroughly tomorrow. I'm going to put the ingredients tomorrow, and I'm going to let go a little more. I have to love my life. It's really exceptional for me to be here. “
