The 2025 women's tour season continues to experience many twists and turns. Following the recent splits of the pairs Ortega / Araújo et Ustero / Alonso, it's the duo's turn Aranzazu Osoro and Jessica Castelló to announce the end of their collaboration.
A decision that is not really a surprise given their complicated start to the year. While they had generated high expectations after their strong performance in the WPT Master Final 2023, where they reached the final, their association never really took off on the circuit Premier Padel.
Since January, Osoro and Castelló have only had one real highlight: a semi-final in the Cancun P2. In addition, there is a qualification for the quarter-finals at Santiago P1, but the results were generally disappointing, with in particular four eliminations in the first round in Riyadh, Miami, Doha and Brussels.
This Tuesday, Aranza Osoro made the separation official via his social networks, explaining:
“We joined forces with the hope of replicating the good feelings and results we had before, but those feelings never came back.”
This separation therefore adds to those already announced this weekend, drawing a real recomposition of the top of the women's ranking. In a few days, the pairs No. 4 (Ortega/Araújo), No. 6 (Ustero/Alonso) et No. 8 (Osoro/Castelló) were dismantled, completely upsetting the balances in view of the P2 of Asuncion.
The next few days should provide more information on the new associations being formed.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
