Hard blow for  Jessica Ginier The French player announced this morning that she is suffering from a  complete rupture of the cruciate ligaments , a serious injury that will keep him off the field for a long time.

This is a particularly difficult time for the Lyon player, currently  pregnant  and already engaged in a gradual transition towards a more role focused on the  coaching and training .

An injury related to fatigue and pregnancy

The Frenchwoman explained the circumstances of this breakup, which occurred in a particular physical context:

"I got this from accumulated fatigue, and with the pregnancy, the ligaments are more fragile, so it gave way."

Beyond the injury itself, it is above all the impossibility of an immediate intervention that complicates the situation.

"What's hard to accept is that I can't have surgery during my pregnancy to avoid risks to the baby under general anesthesia."

The operation cannot take place  at least two months after childbirth , before starting a rehabilitation estimated between  six and eight months .

"So it won't be for at least a year and a half."

 Complete stoppage and rehabilitation underway

For now, it's time for complete rest:

"I'm completely stopped. I'm just starting to walk again and beginning rehabilitation to try and avoid surgery in seven months."

A cautious attempt, dictated by the medical context, even though the prospect of surgery remains the most likely outcome for this type of injury.

 A career already in transition

This injury occurred while  Jessica Ginier  had already announced that he wanted  ease off the gas pedal on the circuit , after his latest selections in  French team in 2025 .
His goal was clear: to focus more on his role as  coach at All In Padel  and on his  by way of family life. .

She is particularly involved in the training of young players such as  Tom Basso  et  Jeremy Robert rising stars of French padel.

 Reorganization at All In Padel

His absence from the field will force the academy to adapt, but Ginier is already anticipating what comes next:

"I'm organizing things at the academy level since I won't be able to be on the field anymore. Nicolas Gavino will be spending weeks at the academy, so it will be a great added value for Jérémy, Thomas, Nathan, and all the players will be able to benefit from his experience."

A way to maintain the momentum of the academy despite his unavailability.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
