La  France continues its journey at the 2026 Mediterranean Games in Taranto  This Monday, August 24th. After the qualifying rounds of  Louise Bahurel / Lucile Pothier  et  Yoan Boronad / Timéo Fonteny  For the quarter-finals, two new French pairs will enter the competition.

 Steffi Merah / Charlotte Soubrié  and  Bastien Blanqué / Dylan Guichard  will be on the track from  17 hrs , with two round of 16 matches that are well within their reach on paper.

Merah / Soubrié open the French program at 17pm

The French women's national team is expected to take to the track for the first time today.  Steffi Merah and Charlotte Soubrié , seeded 8th, will face the Kosovars  Donika Bashota / Adrijana Lekaj .

The meeting is scheduled for  17h on court 3 .

On paper, the French women will start as favorites and will try to join  Pothier / Bahurel  in the quarter-finals. For their first match of the competition, the main objective will be to avoid the trap and quickly find their rhythm.

Right after the women's match, it will be the turn of  Bastien Blanque and Dylan Guichard  to launch their tournament.

La  seeded 5  will face the Monegasques  Nicolas Fedoroff / Noah Minioni who had to go through the first round to reach these round of 16 matches. The match is also scheduled on the  short 3 , in the wake of the Merah / Soubrié match.

On paper, Les Bleus will once again be favorites. With a  Dylan Guichard now in the world's Top 100  and the experience of  Bastien Blanqué The objective will be to join Boronad/Fonteny in the quarter-finals and to start getting closer to the medal matches.
