Johan Bergeron and his partner Jesus Ruiz Bohorquez inclined to the second round of preprevias from Vuelve To Madrid Open from World Padel Tour.

2h30 game despite the punto de oro at 40A, and a defeat 6/7 6/4 6/7. Obviously sad to fail so close to the goal, Johan Bergeron still took the time to answer our questions. Remember that these preprevias, like the previous ones, are different from what is usually done on the WPT since the players have the right to leave the field to play the ball outside.

A very hooked match. Disappointment.

We had opportunities to take the first set (2 set balls) and unfortunately they are the ones who won it but we did not give up and immediately we led 5/3 to win 6/4 the second . The 3rd is very tight and we are led to 5/5 40/0 on their service and we still manage to go up to catch a decisive point ... which we lose. This point could really have made the difference ... I am especially disappointed. I play to win matches and a defeat like that inevitably disappoints me.

Optimal playing conditions at the Madrid Arena

I love the conditions! Finally, we play in the same conditions as the final table and we also see a lot of hooked matches because with a slow track and authorized exits the game is different. It is up to us to adapt, to think before attempting a Par 3: this is the game of Padel ! I find these conditions to be much fairer for everyone.

Despite the defeat, the Adeslas Open remains uncertain…

I get along very well with this partner, I also have my usual partner, who was stranded in Dubai, so I'm going to have to see what I'm going to do for the next tournament, I don't know yet.
