For a player as active and passionate as Jon sanz , staying away from the field is not easy. His last match dates back to mid-July at Malaga P1 , a tournament he had to abandon due to injury. He also withdrew from Tarragona , the Navarrese took advantage of the month of August to heal and prepare for his return.
In an interview with PadelReview, he shared his impressions of this delicate period:
“These haven't been easy weeks. I'm very impatient by nature, as many of you know, and I've had to stay home doing what I need to do to recover. We live off our bodies, and recovery was the priority. I especially want to thank my entire team, who worked with me every day, including weekends, to get me back as quickly as possible.”
Now restored, Jon sanz makes its return this week to Madrid P1 , next to Momo González The pair, trained by Gaby Reca , East seed n ° 6 and will start directly in the second round. They will face Oria / Vilariño ou Martinez / Del Bianco .
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
