The world of  paddle  doesn't just have its stars on the runway. Behind the scenes, some characters have become just as essential. This is the case of  Jose The Best , the most famous of padel window cleaners, who has just announced his withdrawal for a period of  two weeks  due to an injury.

A press release worthy of the pros

Like the players on the circuit, José formalized the news with seriousness: mandatory rest, temporary absence, and expected return as soon as possible. An announcement in an Instagram story that quickly brought a smile to the face of the padel community, but also highlighted a truth:  Cleaning padel windows can be a risky sport .

When the rag becomes an extreme sport

Everyone knows it: windows are at the heart of the padel game. But for José, they're above all his training ground. Between the repetitive movements, the acrobatic positions to reach every corner, and the speed required by the changes of match, the mission is far from trivial. “It's a physical sport; you need discipline and flexibility,” he once joked. This time, it's no longer a joke: his body has said stop.

A character who has become a cult

For several seasons now, José has become a household name in tournaments, almost as eagerly awaited as some other players. His speed, efficiency, and good humor between matches have made him a minor padel celebrity. On social media, some fans even go so far as to say: “No padel without José.”

Return announced shortly

Good news for fans: his absence will only last two weeks. José has promised to return even more motivated, and above all, with a rag ready to shine. As he humorously stated:  “No question of leaving any traces, I’ll come back stronger!”
