Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez  won the  Valladolid Premier Padel P2  by winning the final against  Ari Sánchez / Andrea Ustero , on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 2 .

A clear victory for the world number 2, who perfectly controlled their subject against a Sánchez / Ustero pair who clearly missed their final.

A first set already under control

From the very first set,  Josemaría / González  took control.  2/2 They break away, then remain very solid on their service games to maintain their lead until the end.

In fast-paced conditions, much was expected of Andrea Ustero capable of dealing significant damage with a smash. But  Paula Josemaría  responded perfectly tactically, notably thanks to a superb quality of lobs, which completely neutralized the opposing attacks.

On the other side, Sánchez and Ustero never really managed to find their rhythm. Too many poor decisions, too much haste, and above all, too few chances to truly trouble their opponents.

Josemaría was very intelligent in her choices, alternating between precise lobs, variations, and well-placed smashes. Alongside her,  Bea González  delivered a very solid performance in his diagonal game, with a lot of physical intensity and a real presence in the important moments.

Conversely,  Sánchez / Ustero  They seemed subdued. Ustero wasn't at her best, with several unforced errors and some questionable tactical choices. Ari Sánchez, often capable of galvanizing her partner and turning the tide, failed this time to change the dynamic; she seemed unwilling to take revenge and sometimes even irritated by her partner.

But the real difference lies elsewhere: direct fouls.  36 unforced errors  for Sánchez/Ustero, against only  22  for Josemaría / González.

The same is true for break points: Sánchez/Ustero only managed to get one.  3 , without converting a single one. Opposite them, Josemaría/González had  10 opportunities  and converted  3 .

In a final, that inevitably carries a lot of weight.

This title does a lot of good for  Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez After their impressive series of  five consecutive titles They had been stopped at the Italy Major , Then the  Valence P1 .

In Valladolid, they rediscovered the taste of victory and sent a strong message. All the more so as they avenged their defeat against Sánchez/Ustero, who had beaten them in their last encounter, in that legendary match of  4:12 considered one of the greatest matches in the history of women's padel.

In terms of head-to-head matches, Josemaría/González now lead.  4 wins to 2  facing Sánchez / Ustero. And for their first final against this pair, they rose to the occasion.  Jose Maria  retains her title in Valladolid, having won it last season alongside Ari Sanchez.

Sánchez / Ustero remain on a good run of form

Despite this disappointing final, all is not lost for  Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero They beat the world number ones again.  Gemma Triay / Delfi Brea  in the semi-finals, for the second time in a row.

They therefore confirm that they are among the most dangerous pairs at the moment, even if this final has shown that they still have adjustments to make to maintain this level until the end.

On their side,  Josemaría / González  They leave Valladolid with a new title and renewed momentum. Both pairs will already be expected to compete next week at the  Bordeaux Premier Padel P2 , with a women's battle more open than ever.
