According to a report by Playtomic produced by PwC, the average rent paid by a club padel London is €31,5/m²/month. This is more than three times the amount paid in Barcelona, ​​where managers get away with an average of €10,1/m²/month.

These very high amounts are reflected in the court rental prices for players. The report indicates that the average price is €59/hour per court. This is already 43% higher than in the rest of the country and 56% more expensive than in Barcelona.

There is a correlation with the occupancy rate of the courts. In Barcelona, ​​the courts are occupied for more than 8 hours a day on average, while in London they are only occupied for 6 hours. However, this correlation should not be interpreted as causation. It could be that it is the low occupancy rate that pushes managers to increase prices to make a profit, or that it is the high prices that block access to as many people as possible.

Average monthly income is also impacted: €32,9/m²/month in Barcelona compared to €53/m²/month in London. However, these incomes must be qualified by taking into account high rents. The actual benefit is probably much less.
