Padel is not the only sport that improves mental health and productivity at work. In fact, every physical activity does. As World Mental Health Day approaches (October 10), Asics called on actor Brian Cox who in a video alerts about the harm of sitting too long at your desk and encourages you to move and get up regularly to preserve your mental health.

15 minutes of physical activity a day improves mental health

A quarter of an hour… this would be the time needed to be given to physical activity each day during the working day to improve mental health. Indeed, according to experience The Desk Break, an employee who had a physical activity of at least 15 minutes during his working day would have a 22,5% improvement in his mental state.

Which means that all the people who play padel between noon and two would come back from their break more efficient and happier than before they left!

Goodbye stress, hello productivity

Also through this experiment, it was demonstrated that this physical activity would reduce stress levels by 14,7% et would increase productivity by 33,2%. In short, every boss's dream!

Urban artist concentration would improve by 28,6% ! No more scrolling for hours on your phone, the desire to work would be back!

Participants also reported feeling 33,3% more relaxed and 28,6% more calm and resilient. 79,2% of participants added that they would be more dedicated to their work if they could take more regular breaks.
