This is unexpected news as the  P2 of Valladolid  : deprived of his partner  Martin Di Nenno , hurt,  Juan Tello  will partner with an iconic figure of the circuit…  Argentinian Miguel Lamperti . A pair that is likely to spark in fast conditions.

A legend to support El Gato

While the unavailability of  Martin Di Nenno  remains to this day without a precise duration, Juan Tello had to react quickly. He found a prestigious replacement in the person of  Miguel Lamperti , one of the most  charismatic and experienced players on the circuit. 

The two men were also seen this morning at training at  Indie Padel Madrid Club , where they began to find their marks… with one notable detail:  Lamperti was moving on the right side of the track .

A strategic repositioning for Lamperti

Soon aligned to the right at  Bordeaux P2  alongside Alex Chozas ,  Miguel Lamperti  seems to confirm a  change of direction in his career At 46, the veteran now appears ready to  leave the left corridor to more physical players , while making the most of his experience, his vision and his quality of hand on the right wing.

This trend could well continue in the coming months if the results are there, it will of course depend on the Di Nenno's health status . But  in case of prolonged injury , we can imagine that  Juan Tello  call on  Lamperti  for other deadlines. The alchemy between the two Argentines, if it takes hold quickly, could lead to a  more sustainable collaboration. 

An immediate penalty in the ranking

A collaboration that remains unlikely as the The ranking gap between the two men is large  (20th and 95th) This  reorganization costs Juan Tello dearly:  By partnering with a lower-ranked player, Tello falls down the seeding list.  It goes from TS7 to TS17 , which could expose it to  a difficult draw from the first round , facing a pair better positioned on paper.

But why not offer us an explosive tournament for these two big smashers in fast conditions under the Valladolid sun…
