Sergio Agüero's team stands out in this second edition of the Hexagon Cup, at the end of a final disputed against the Rafael Nadal Academy. A victory that rewards a strong collective and a gradual build-up throughout the tournament.
A final between the two best teams
All week long, KRÜ Pádel and the Rafa Nadal Academy have shown great consistency, dominating the group stage to reach the final. Before the decisive clash, AD/Vantage et Team Bella were competing for third place. Delfi Brea and Sofia Araujo brought the first point to their team before Tello and Di Nenno do not confirm, allowing AD/Vantage to leave with the bronze medal.
Ortega and Triay launch the Rafa Nadal Academy well
The final opened with a duel between Marta Ortega and Gemma Triay (Rafa Nadal Academy) et Claudia Jensen and Vero Virseda (KRÜ Pádel). Triay and Ortega, more accustomed to playing together, got off to the best start, but Jensen has been able to raise his level and push the match into a super tie-break decisive.
After having match points, KRÜ failed to conclude, and it is finally Rafa Nadal Academy who wins this first point by winning: 7/6 5/7 13-11.
Momo and Chingotto equalize for KRÜ
With one point behind, Momo Gonzalez and Fede Chingotto had to absolutely win against Franco Stupaczuk and Alex Ruiz. Momo was the most prominent player, putting Ruiz under pressure, While Chingotto assured in defense.
Without really being able to reverse the dynamic, Stupa and Ruiz lost 6/4 6/4, handing over both teams tied before the last match.
KRÜ youth bring the decisive point
It all came down to the third match, where the young people of the Next Gen clashed. Marina Lobo and Águeda Pérez (KRÜ) were opposed to Noa Cánovas and Noemí Aguilar (Rafa Nadal Academy).
While Canovas and Aguilar seemed favorites, they are Lobo and Perez who handled the pressure better and took the lead. More constant, they knew impose their rhythm, while their opponents never really found any solutions.
By winning this last match 6/3 6/4, KRÜ Pádel wins the title and offers a first victory to Sergio Aguero's team.

Without making any noise, KRÜ Padel was able to gain momentum in the tournament and manage the final with efficiency. Sergio Agüero, very involved, was able to celebrate this victory with his players.
