Andrea Ustero and Alejandra Alonso had impressed last week, at the Dubai P1. The two nuggets of Spanish padel had made it to the final of the tournament, notably taking the upper hand over Gemma Triay et Claudia fernandezThey lost in the final to Delfi Brea and Bea González, after a very good run in the United Arab Emirates.

This week, the Spanish pair will not be able to repeat the feat, having inherited a very disadvantageous draw. In fact, in the first round, Ustero / Alonso had to face the number 1 seed: Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez.

The Josemaria / Sanchez pair left no space for Andrea Ustero and Alejandra Alonso, dominating them in all areas of the game. The two young Spanish women found themselves without any solution and suffered the law of the most successful pair in history. In the end, the score was harsh: 6 / 0 6 / 2 in 55 minutes of play.
