A new initiative within the International Federation of Padel (FIP) aims to strengthen the development of padel on a continental scale. Following a meeting led by FIP President Luigi Carraro, federations from FIP member countries – including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Canada, Mexico, USA and Paraguay – decided to found a new continental entity: « Padel America ».

This creation occurred shortly after the establishment of Padel Europe, initiated during the European Championships of Padel of the FIP, and will be based in Mexico.

Unity and development at the heart of “ Padel America »

Luigi Carraro expressed his satisfaction with this new initiative. “ I am particularly happy and would like to thank the American FIP member countries for making this initiative possible ", did he declare. " As with the creation of Padel europe, Padel America shares the same goals and the spirit of cooperation. The decision taken at the General Assembly in Asuncion, Paraguay, which saw unanimous acceptance of the key points for the future of our sport, is testimony to this. An invitation to coordination and commitment

At the end of the meeting which formalized the creation of Padel America, the representatives of the founding countries stressed that “ Padel America is open to all American federations wishing to participate. The objective is to improve coordination between the federations affiliated to the FIP in America and to ensure active participation of all members to strengthen our sport in each country, with a renewed continental vision »
