In a recent interview given to our colleagues at Relief, the Argentinian Martin Di Nenno spoke about several hot topics on the circuit Premier Padel, discussing his formidable opponents, the current level of padel and the future of his collaboration with Juan Lebrón.
“Coello and Tapia are the best, but we can beat them”
Asked about the dominance ofArturo Coello et Agustín Tapia, considered the best pair for two seasons, Di Nenno remains lucid:
“Yes, we can beat them, although it is very difficult. They have been the best for two years and it shows, not only in their ranking, but also in their level of play. We must have this little pinch of madness against them and against everyone to believe that we can win.”
Juan Lebrón's Side Change: An Impressive Adjustment
Regarding his current partner, Juan Lebrón, who recently changed position on the field, Di Nenno did not fail to praise his rapid adaptation:
“He has shown that he can adapt very quickly. It is not easy, especially at the level at which padel is played today. He is truly a fun. "
A future still uncertain for the Di Nenno/Lebrón pair
Finally, on the future of their association, Di Nenno remains cautious while adding a touch of humor in the face of the rumors circulating on social networks:
“We have decided to play until the end of the year. We still have the Finals, and then we'll take stock. But Twitter (X) is quite funny because a lot of things are said there. We'll talk about it now with Juan and see what we decide."
Although no certainty has yet been announced for 2025, the Premier Padel Finals will probably be decisive for the future of the pair Di Nenno/LebronThe results of this last major meeting of the year could well seal their common future or mark a new turning point for each of the two players.
