The padel now has its stamp.  September 15,  Post Office  will issue a  block of two stamps  in the “Sport” series, dedicated to this discipline which is booming in France in collaboration with Padel MagazineThis initiative recognizes the growing popularity of padel and its ability to create bonds across generations.

A sport that is shared… and that brings people together

To accompany this philatelic issue, La Poste has imagined a scene that could be that of many French people discovering this still recent sport:

“You’ll see, you’ll love it.”
That's what he said  Hugo  to his father, one Sunday morning. Hugo is 17 years old and has been playing padel with his friends for six months. His father, 52, is more of a tennis player. Rather skeptical.
“A racket without strings? Walls all around? It can’t be very serious…”

And yet, they went onto the court. It was already hot. Hugo lent him a racket. They exchanged a few balls. Then other players arrived, and the game began. Doubles, of course. The father found himself laughing. Sweating. Even applauding his opponents. He hit the ball like a kid. When the match was over, he hadn't noticed the time pass.

That day,  He discovered a sport. But above all, a moment. A way to be together, to move, to talk to each other without judging.
Padel is not just a game:  it's a link .

La Poste is celebrating padel with a special stamp issue, starting September 15, 2025
