The FFT regulations are very clear:  a player's forfeit automatically results in the pair's forfeit But depending on the tournament category and the withdrawal date, there are solutions for rebuilding a team.

 Before the registration deadline (P25 to P250 tournaments) 

A player whose partner has forfeited may:

  •  Re-register  with a new player,
  • Corn (Mais)  he will go back to the bottom of the registration list .

This is therefore an entirely new registration, without any rights retained in relation to the initial place.

 After the registration deadline (P500, P1000, P1500, P2000) 

A player whose partner forfeits  after the registration closes  peut  submit a request for recomposition  with the organizing committee… but under strict conditions.

  • He must  request a Wild Card (WC) ,  writing to the referee  within the regulatory deadlines:
    •  D-5 at 23:59 p.m.  for  P500 and P1000 tournaments 
    •  D-10 at 23:59 p.m.  for  P1500 and P2000 tournaments 
  • Le  tournament committee must accept  this application.
  • If it is accepted, then the  pair can be recomposed More  only through this exceptional Wild Card procedure .
