We announced it to you a few weeks ago. The second edition of Africa Padel Cup will take place in Tunisia, in the club that won the previous edition, the Olympysky club. But let's find out about this competition and what the future has to offer the African continent.

Africa, a huge continent rich in diversity. A continent that is beginning to see tracks of padel here and there but who needs support to make it known to everyone.

We are starting to see international competitions like lately the intercontinental cup of padel from Dakhla in Morocco. Senegal has been very active in recent years with international tournaments (IPE by Madison). Until last year when Africa started Padel Cup

What is it ?

This competition consists of representing a club from several countries and having them compete in a friendly event at a different venue each year.

In 2019, the Senegalese club Saly received the first edition with 4 teams: Senegal, Equatorial Guinea, Egypt and Tunisia. We know the result, Tunisia will win this first title.

2020, from March 12 to 15, it will therefore be the Tunisian club that will host the competition. For the moment, registrations remain open but the clubs having confirmed their presence are: the Olympysky club of Tunisia, the Ukombo club of Equatorial Guinea, the Go club Padel from Egypt, the PS club from Senegal, and a new one, the Nacho Payan club from Morocco.

The organization announces scheduled matches in the morning for the Open Africa in pairs, and in the afternoon, the team matches of Africa Padel Championship Cup.

The info and more ...

In November 2020 should launch the Africa Padel Nations Cup. A tournament that would no longer oppose clubs but nations. New in the padel in Africa. A big event in perspective which requires a lot of work and support. We count on you.

Long live the padel in Africa
