The General Assembly of the Federation of Europe Padel (FEPA) approved the designation of theAPT Padel Tour as an official professional circuit.

FEPA is an institution that governs the padel in Europe. It will collaborate with the APT PADEL TOUR on the development of the American professional circuit in Europe.

This news thus confirms the desire of the President of the APT PADEL TOUR, Fabrice Pastor, to see stages will see the light of day next year.

A minimum of 8 events in Europe

Representatives of the 18 FEPA member countries met this week, via video conference, and voted in favor of theopening up to the European continent of this professional circuit. From 2021, Europe will join the American continent in the organization of the events of theAPT Padel Tour.

The 2021 calendar will be published in early November and will have a minimum of 8 events in Europe.

An increase in the number of events

Admission of European countries to the APT Padel Tour will allow the latter to count more than one fifty tournaments during the season.

The goal of APT leaders Padel Round is to have, in the calendar, 20 tournaments of categories Open, Master, Grand Master, and Master Final.

Thus, the two large continental federations (CAPF and FEPA) are walking in the same direction to develop the padel. This announcement is historic for the padel, which is globalized even more.

Philippe Cerfon, the President of FEPA expressed to us his great joy to see the APT Padel Tour arrive in Europe.

The sports world is currently tense by the health crisis.

Among all of these issues related to COVID 19, there are nonetheless some positive things that are being built.

And this collaboration with the APT Padel Tour is one of them.

The circuit is no longer just an American circuit, it officially becomes a real world circuit. Its ambitions are great.

The European member countries which propose a stage will inevitably be winners because the APT PADEL TOUR is a very beautiful machine which has already proven its ability to do quality events despite its young age.

the APT has a global vocation. And this collaboration is part of this register.

With the renewal of the Fabrice Pastor Cup and the pre-professional tournaments, we have a real tool for promoting and dispersing the padel in countries where the padel is little known.

Long live the APT PADEL TOUR
