Le Béziers Padel Club successfully hosted a stage of the CUPRA PADEL TOUR in a sporty and festive atmosphere. Despite unfavourable weather forecasts, luck was on our side and the sun shone throughout the day, allowing participants and the public to fully enjoy the event.
The day was marked by a great turnout from the youngest, with around twenty children taking part in the dedicated activity. All left delighted with many prizes.
The event also offered entertainment for amateur players, giving them the opportunity to compete against professional players such as Loic Le Panse, French number 21, and Mariano Llanos, former world champion and international padel coach. The participants gave their all to try to score points against these high-level players.
Competition side
In the category P250 Gentlemen, it is the team seeded n°1, composed of Simon Pouil and the Béziers coach Padel Club, Gabin Martinez, who took the victory. A large part of Gabin's students were there to encourage him.
In the category P25, the final saw the two best teams of the tournament face off. The No. 2 seed, Valentin Favier et Lucas Roussignol, won against the number 1 seed, Roman Calais et Mickael Domergue.
In the women's race, the No. 4 seed, Cecilia Laguens et Mylène Maurras, won the final by beating the No. 6 seed, Charlene Quatrefages et Aurelie Sembeil.
A festive evening to close the event
The day ended in a festive atmosphere with an evening hosted by a DJ, offering all participants the opportunity to celebrate this successful stage of the CUPRA PADEL TOUR.
