Les vacances   Summer tournaments are starting to shake things up on the women's circuit. While the London Premier Padel P1 is not yet over; several separations have already been officially announced in preparation for the resumption. After the initial moves in the men's draw, it is now the women's draw that begins its  musical chairs game .

Two pairs have announced the end of their adventure:  Vero Virseda / Jimena Velasco  et  Lucía Martínez / Águeda Pérez .

Virseda and Velasco, already the end

This is certainly the most surprising separation.  Vero Virseda and Jimena Velasco , currently pair number 9, have decided to end their association after only  three tournaments played together .

A very short project, even though the two Spanish women were close to achieving the status of  seeded 8 important to benefit from more favorable charts.

Virseda confirmed the news on her social media with a message addressed to her now ex-partner and her team:

"Thank you Jimena and Iñigo for this short time; I met two wonderful people. I wish you all the best."

A quick separation that now places two highly ranked players on the market.

Martínez and Pérez are also taking different paths

Another announced separation: that of  Lucía Martínez and Águeda Pérez .

The two Spanish women will not continue their partnership after the summer break and will therefore each look for a new partner to tackle the second part of the season.

With now  four players available These two breaks could trigger a real domino effect.

A new women's transfer window is about to begin.

And this may only be the beginning.

As is often the case during the summer break, the players take advantage of these few weeks without competition to review their first half of the season and possibly launch a  new project .

Decisions will need to be made quickly. The circuit will resume with the  Madrid P1, from September 1st to 6th , but registration closes as soon as the  August 12 at 17 a.m. .

The players therefore only have a few days to find their new partner.

After the movement  Stupaczuk / Yanguas  While the men's transfer market is accelerating, the women's market is also picking up speed. And with Virseda, Velasco, Martínez, and Pérez now on the market,  new associations should emerge soon .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
