Le  P1000 FT Échirolles  is shaping up to be one of the major events of the weekend on the French circuit. With a particularly strong field, more than  10 players from the French Top 100 A great atmosphere is expected, and there will be a live broadcast on  Padel MagTV  From the quarter-finals onwards, all the ingredients are there for a very good tournament.

FT Échirolles, a pioneering padel club

The club of FT Échirolles  is not a newcomer to the French padel scene. Created in 2010 with two indoor soccer pitches, the complex gradually evolved before discovering padel in 2014, after a trip to Spain by its managers.

At a time when padel was still virtually unknown in France, the club even had to go to Switzerland to test the sport before launching its first court.

With the explosion of padel in France, FT Échirolles then took a significant step forward in 2021 with the expansion of the complex and the creation of three new courts in premium conditions, notably with  10 meters high ceiling .

Organize today a  P1000  This therefore represents a true culmination for the Isère club.

 A very dense plateau

The tournament will offer a very evenly matched draw with several pairs capable of going far.

At the top of series 1, we will find  Lucas Potel  et  Robin Petitdidier , a solid and consistent pair on the French circuit.

The second seed will consist of  Nathan Etienne  and solid Spanish  Pedro Diaz Torregrosa , a very dangerous association that will clearly be among the favorites.

At the top of series 3, we will have  François Authier  et  Basil Baud , a Lyon pair that can do a lot of damage.

The seed 4 composed of  Thomas Lelarge  et  Quentin Perrin  will also need to be closely monitored.

Pierre Vincent among the major outsiders

Among the most dangerous outsiders, it's hard not to mention the pair made up of  Pierre-Vincent , currently number 17 in France, associated with  Knife .

Ranked 15th in terms of pair strength, they could well be one of the biggest threats in the tournament.

Another pair to follow:  Roll / From the Garden , seeded 5th, as well as  Stroppiana / Dizy capable of creating big surprises.

A great atmosphere is expected all weekend.

Beyond the sporting aspect, the club wants to transform this P1000 into a true event.

The players will be treated to spectacular entrances with tunnels, smoke, and lighting effects. A DJ will be present during the semi-finals and the final, while Albano  will provide the atmosphere on the microphone throughout the weekend.

On Sunday, the show will continue with a  One Point Challenge  At 15pm: 32 teams, only 5 points to win the title and two club memberships to be won.

The final is scheduled for 16pm before a big festive evening with a giant paella, a gypsy concert and then a DJ until the end of the night.

Matches to watch live on Padel MagTV

All matches from the quarter-finals onwards will be broadcast live on  Padel MagTV  throughout the weekend.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
