A chapter in French padel history is about to close.  4PADEL Orléans-Fleury . From  28 at 30 August 2026  will simply argue  the last P1500 gentlemen in history Starting in September, this category will disappear from the FFT landscape:  The P1500s will become P2000s .

And to bring the curtain down for good, the lineup offered in Orléans is worthy of the event.  Simon Wagner / Yanis Muesser ,  Pierre Vincent / Damien Bayard ,  Guillaume Ledrap / Pierre Perez Le Tiec ,  Quentin Ayuso / Maxime Forcin ,  Clément Filho / Charles Gortzounian … The density is such that this latest P1500 already has the appearance of P2000.

Wagner/Muesser to bring the story to a close?

Headlining the event will be a pair  100% Alsatian  with the left-handed  Simon Wagner  next to  Yanis Muesser .

The two players will form the  seeded 1  and will naturally be among the top favorites to go for this last P1500 men's title.

But right behind, the gap is almost non-existent.

Only at  two points on the pair weight the two gunners  Pierre Vincent / Damien Bayard  will form the second seed. An association that has become inseparable and that harbors great ambitions for the rest of the season.

On paper, a final  Wagner / Muesser – Vincent / Bayard  would certainly be a fitting way to close the P1500 story.

But be warned: imagining this final in advance would be almost unwise.

A final P1500 with the look of a P2000

Because behind the top two seeds, the competition is impressive.

En  seeded 3 , we will find  Guillaume Ledrap , capable of the best… and sometimes the worst – he'll forgive us –, associated with  Pierre Perez Le Tiec .

La  seeded 4  will be composed of  Quentin Ayuso / Maxime Forcin , two players more than capable of upsetting the favorites.

Tied with them in pair weight, with  55 points ,  Clément Filho / Charles Gortzounian  will form the  seeded 5 .

This tournament will also mark the return to P1500 of  Clement Filho , Alias  the Chiquier .

A further step in his return to competition before reuniting with his teammate a few days later.  Jules Mary  on the international circuit. The two men will be partners during the  FIP Bronze in Marnes-la-Coquette, from September 1st to 5th .

But before this new adventure, Filho will therefore try to add his name, with Charles Gortzounian, to the list of winners of the  latest P1500 gentlemen .

At this level, it's difficult to talk about a classic P1500.  This final tournament in the category is shaping up to be absolutely crazy.

The depth of the painting is probably what is most impressive.

One last dance before the disappearance of the P1500s

This meeting in Orléans will therefore have a special flavor.

After this tournament,  There will be no more P1500s, gentlemen. From September, the category will disappear as part of the new FFT competition organization, with the transition to  P1500 to P2000 .

And finally, it's hard to imagine a better setting to say goodbye to him.

An extremely competitive field, favorites far from safe, players seeking revenge, and one last trophy to be won:  The P1500 men's race is preparing to bow out in grand style in Orléans. .

 And to illustrate the sheer insane depth of this draw: among the players making up the first 19 pairs announced, only one isn't ranked in the French top 100. The culprit? Guilhem Perez Le Tiec, only 104th in France… the rascal! According to our sources – obviously highly unreliable – the organizers are even considering giving him a reprimand for daring to single-handedly lower the average draw ranking. We're obviously joking, Guilhem!
