The March 7 and 8, 2025, Toulouse welcomed the largest inter-company padel championship.

With 300 companies coming from France, Belgium, Switzerland and the Principality of Monaco, this competition has experienced 30 steps: before reaching a final where only 24 teams fought for the title of Masters of the Padel Business League.

Among the lucky ones, a team from the gendarmerie, coming from the east of France, participated for the first time in an event of such magnitude.

Samir, gendarme at Chalon-en-Champagne, looks back on this Toulouse adventure:

"The discipline is growing everywhere, and we are no exception. Tournaments are multiplying, and the number of participants continues to grow in our corporation. Initially, seeing all the institutions and companies involved in this competition, we thought it was a shame not to be represented. This event was an opportunity to wear our colors, but also to interact with our counterparts from the national and Monegasque police. It was very enriching, both on a sporting and human level."

Padel is only just beginning to take off within the gendarmerie. The second edition of the FCD regional championships of the Northeast league will be held on Thursday April 3 2025 visit us at the 4Padel of Valenciennes.
