It is no longer possible to talk about padel as an emerging sport. World Padel Report 2025, published by the International Federation of Padel, presents an observation of a sport firmly established on a global scaleWith growth indicators confirming a change in scale, padel is entering a new phase of maturity. More practiced, better structured, more international.

With over 51 tracks et 15 clubsEurope remains by far the leading continent for padel. But the report highlights a evolution of the growth rateAfter the spectacular explosions observed in Italy and Sweden between 2020 and 2023, some markets are entering a consolidation phase.
La France is establishing itself as one of the most dynamic countries at the moment, with +1,850 tracks in 18 months, i.e., annual growth exceeding 55%, now exceeding the threshold of 4 lotsThe United Kingdom also continues its strong progress, surpassing the 1 tracks, while Germany approaches the 900 facilities.

A gradual spread in Asia, Africa and Oceania
Long concentrated in the Middle East, Asian padel has expanded. The region's share has gone from 89% to 72%, to the benefit of countries like Indonesia, Lebanon, Thailand or, Pakistan.
En Africa, more than 40 countries are now involved. Egypt remains the most mature country, but South Africa is experiencing spectacular growth, with more than 1 tracks. The Morocco and Tunisia now exceed 100 lands.
En OceaniaPadel is only just emerging from its embryonic stage. Australia has approximately 80 tracks, with a still very gradual development, supported by the organization of international tournaments.
An increasingly structured professional circuit
From a sporting perspective, the FIP currently oversees several international circuits. CUPRA FIP Tour continues its mission of global development with 318 tournaments confirmed in 2025, divided almost equally between men's and women's competitions. Since its creation, the circuit has welcomed players from 78 nations.
The circuit Qatar Airways Premier Padel has established itself as the global benchmark. After the resumption of the World Padel Tourhe organized 23 combined tournaments in 2024On 4 continents, confirming the internationalization of the very highest level. In three seasons, more than 3 matches were contested, with players from 33 different nations.
A sport that is now adult
Beyond the numbers, the World Padel The 2025 report highlights a fundamental change: padel is no longer simply growing, it structureNational federations, hierarchical circuits, stabilized calendars, youth training and professional refereeing become lasting pillars.
Padel is thus entering a phase where quantitative growth is gradually giving way to challenges of quality, regulation and structuringessential conditions to support its long-term development.
