During the TV show MasterChef Spain, a participant gave one of his dishes the nickname of the current number 7 in World Padel Tour : Fernando Belasteguin.

Le padel is everywhere, even in the kitchen. We are not talking about a dish or a cake in the shape of a pala or a ball, no, we are talking about a dish that pays homage and bears the name of a legend of the padel ; Fernando Belasteguin.

Participants in the show must create or reproduce dishes, to which they give a name. It’s Andy, a 26-year-old lawyer who chooses “leyenda de Pehuajó” (the legend of Pehuajó) for his dessert including cookie, strawberry coulis, ice cream, granulated sugar, rum and cotton candy; all on fire.

Le padel arrives on the tables and in all the discussions, the multiple world number 1 in reference.
