In Toulouse, the  Toulouse Padel Club & Squash  (TPC) opened its doors in 2015, when padel was still relatively unknown in France. The club has gradually  established as one of the national benchmarks  thanks to its continuous development and its ability to accommodate both recreational and competitive practitioners.

 A bet made before the padel boom 

When the TPC  opened in 2015  In the Saint-Martin-du-Touch area, west of Toulouse, the situation was very different from today. At that time, France had only a few dozen padel courts and the  discipline  is just beginning to emerge from the  client confidentiality , far from the thousands of trails that the territory now boasts.

Behind this project is  Kevin Tournemire which is taking the gamble of creating a structure entirely designed around the development of padel. The choice to combine it with squash is not insignificant: it allows the complex to bring together  two racket sports  indoor facilities sharing the same sporting clientele while ensuring regular activity throughout the year.

Installed at  11 rue Marie-Louise Dissard The club also benefits from a strategic location, close to major roads, Toulouse-Blagnac airport and business parks in western Toulouse.

 Steady growth until becoming one of the largest indoor clubs in France 

At its opening, the complex had 10 padel courts. Faced with growing demand, two new courts were added, before a  new extension  in 2020 bringing the total to  14 covered ground This development then makes Toulouse Padel Club one of the  largest indoor clubs in France , a distinction he still claims today.

This increase is far from insignificant. As early as 2020, Kevin Tournemire explained that the building had practically reached its physical limits, even mentioning the need to "expand" to continue developing the club. Rather than simply adding more pitches at all costs, the thinking gradually shifted towards... improvement of services and experience  offered to the players.

 A club designed to host competitions 

While TPC attracts many recreational players, it was also designed from the outset to accommodate  major competitions Over the years, the complex has hosted numerous federal events and tournaments.  P250, P500 or P1000 , but also  French Youth Championships  as well as several major events organized on the sidelines of the  Human Padel Open  contested in the Place du Capitole when Toulouse hosted a stage of the World Padel Tour.

This organizational capacity relies as much on the number of available courts as on a configuration that allows many players to play simultaneously, a sought-after advantage for major competitions.

 Much more than just padel 

The complex now includes  14 indoor padel courts and 4 squash courts in addition to a clubhouse, a restaurant area, a pro shop, changing rooms, supervised lessons, entertainment and a fully digitalized booking service.

The club is  open seven days a week  with a particularly wide range of opening hours,  extending until 12:30 a.m. on weekdays Over the years, TPC has also developed an offering geared towards businesses, private events and social gatherings, demonstrating a desire to keep the club alive beyond simply booking pitches.

 A key player in the development of padel in Toulouse 

The success of TPC is part of a broader trend. Toulouse is now one of the French metropolitan areas where padel is most developed, with several major clubs spread across the greater Toulouse area. But when Toulouse Padel The club was founded in 2015, and this offering is still very limited.

Le  complex  thus participates in the  local democratization of the discipline  by welcoming both beginners and experienced players. The numerous activities, regular tournaments and courses offered throughout the year have helped to build a loyal community that now extends far beyond the realm of simple sporting activity.

 Ten years later, a still firmly established benchmark 

En  2025 the club celebrated its  tenth anniversary recalling the journey since its opening. Between successive extensions, the increase in the number of courts and the organization of national competitions, the TPC has accompanied all the major stages of the rise of French padel.

At a time when new complexes are opening every year throughout France, Toulouse Padel Club retains a special place: that of a  club that invested very early  in a still emerging discipline which, ten years later, continues to be one of the major meeting points of padel in Toulouse.
